I met Breanne in El Paso more than 10 years ago when we were young and on our practice marriages. (That sounds better than "I've been divorced" right?) We bonded over makeup, magazines, and girls nights in when our then-husbands were playing Army.

So when she hit me up about a new makeup line I'd never heard of I KNEW it was going to be good. She knows her stuff.

THEN I saw the packaging. Sleek, pretty, all my favorite things.

Alcone is a professional makeup company line founded in 1952 for makeup artists only. That means a lot - that means that what the celebs are getting, you're getting. LimeLight is their downline for Alcone to make it affordable for us.

What I bought:

Masque of Zen (ugh, adult breakouts anyone?) Botanical Foundation in Gena Beige and Olive 1 (so I could match my skin perfectly - order what you think is your shade AND one shade lighter or darker - they have a 30 day return policy!)

Needless to say, LimeLight has joined my permanent, daily-wear (when I'm not giving my skin a breather).

BONUS: it totally makes my shelves look classy af. I was able to fit ALL my daily wear into the Little Black Box, which fits in my makeup bag perfectly (makeup bag by Southern Pursuits)...
